Your Contribution

Provide leadership and guidance in the planning and execution of automated testing processes to meet the needs of the business and software solution delivery areas.

Performance Objectives:

* Lead QA processes for multiple projects.
* Define, analyze, and evaluate test requirements to meet business needs.
* Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to determine scope of testing.
* Review business requirements for completeness and make appropriate recommendations for changes or other solutions.
* Review test plans, test scenarios, and test cases prepared by others for completeness.
* Collaborate with developers and architects to facilitate a continuous testing philosophy.
* Adhere to QA standards and make recommendations (e.g. process improvements).
* Document and implement lessons learned.
* Document and present test results and provide updates to the project team.
* Review and evaluate project deliverables to ensure they conform to quality standards.
* Attend project leadership meetings between IT and business areas to represent over all QA process.
* Mentor and train team
* Handle complex problem resolution.

What we are looking for

* 5-8 years of related work experience with 2 years of management experiance
* Automated experience with Docker, Teraform, Jenkins. Selenium
* Cloud construction / operation experience at major cloud providers such as AWS
* Experience with cluster environments (ie AWS, Docker Swarm, Kubernets)
* Collaboration experience with development and Dev/Ops teams
* Experience in testing and quality control for cloud based SaaS and PaaS solutions
* Experience with automated regression testing
* Analytical and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with QA practices and standards.
* Experience with SDLC processes.
* Knowledge of ANSI SQL and comfortable creating and querying
* Excellent problem solving, thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong verbal communication and writing skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Strong teamwork, leadership, interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to handle multiple high-priority demands, competing priorities and multiple-tasks in a fast pace environment.
* Demonstrates a solid work ethic, positive attitude and sense of urgency.
* Develop QA metrics for assessing the quality of newly developed testing.
* Conduct analysis of current software process practices.
* Document proposed practices and testing improvements. Mentor team in proper methods.
* Provide input into the development of project plans and timetables.
* Provide technical support and training to the QA staff.
