Job Description

Description:This Test Engineering position shall support Software (SW) Test Program development for PAC-3 Command Launch System (CLS) related test sets.

Candidate will be mentor to Junior SW Design staff and train them to apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle.

This candidate shall support the creation of test description documents, operating instructions, and installation procedures.

This candidate shall support test program reviews (Peer Reviews, Code Reviews, Design Assurance Reviews, Pre/Post Dry-Runs, etc.)

This candidate shall work to the assigned tasks as laid out in the IMS within constraints defined by the Technical Lead.

Coordinates with the Technical Lead, Requirements/Traceability SME, and test set Hardware (HW) SME to ensure the quality and technical Performance of the System meets Test Engineering software standards and to ensure the system design meets requirements.

Provides SW support to Integration, Verification and Validation of the test set.

The following skills are desired:

Experience developing medium- to large-scale test programs designed in LabWindows/CVI, and TestStand is required.

Proficient in Object Orientated Software Design

This position also requires a background in HW design, test program design, and HW/SW integration.

Basic Qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience with test equipment processes of documentation; materials procurement; and fabrication.
* Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
* Experience in oral and written communication to present and to motivate

Desired Skills:

* Knowledge of earned value management
* Capable of working in a fast paced, demanding environment providing independent thinking, problem resolution and action with minimal direct oversight by senior management.
* Background in test equipment work item proposal development and execution.
* Experience in test equipment practices for the prototype build environment.
