AWS Transit Gateway is looking for a System Development Engineer who is up for building a new set of tools and processes from the ground up. The Transit Gateway team owns critical VPC data plane and control plane systems that drive multiple products via a Network Function Virtualization (NFV) platform. This is highly distributed and scalable system that is built for enterprise grade workflows. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the promise of the cloud and infrastructure automation. This individual will have a healthy disrespect for manual tasks and will constantly be looking for ways to automate *everything*. AWS in general, and this business in particular, operates at very large scale and on critical workloads, so a passion and discipline around operational excellence is key. A high level of ownership and accountability is a must.
