Job Description

Overview

The system developer is key to enhancing the backend systems that support daily operations. You'll create, maintain, audit and improve systems to meet particular needs, often as advised by a systems analyst or administrator. Additional tasks will be focused on developing system integrations through APIs and/or FTP import/exports.

Essential Functions

* Establish and build key partnerships with home office departments
* Work closely with system analyst and administrators to determine system enhancements
* Develop integrations with outside vendors
* Implement system enhancements based on specified requirements
* Perform regression testing for environments pending upgrades
* Modify existing software applications; minimize need for critical fixes
* Create documentation in support of any newly developed enhancements or integrations
* Continued education; stay on top of emerging trends and technologies
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: Masters preferred

Area of Study: Computer Science / Analytics (preferred)

Years of Experience: 3+

Type of Experience: Work

Technical Competencies: Python, C#, .NET, JSON

Skills and Ability: API setup

Other/Preferred: SQL, batch scripting, Oracle PBCS, Oracle Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics
