Job Description:

* As a System/Data Security Analyst, you would be an individual contributor responsible for interpreting data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and develop visual presentations of the data discoveries through the use of BI Platforms. You will gather information from various data sources, identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.
* You will clean and prepare data using data preparation tools and/or methodologies for use in data models, data mining, and predictive analysis to develop predictions and correlations within large data sets.
* Design and construct new processes for data modeling using prototypes, algorithms, predictive models, and custom analysis.
* You will be using your analytical mindset, technical and business knowledge to design and construct new processes for data modeling using prototypes, algorithms, predictive models, and custom analysis to support secure, risk-based practices, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies. We look for you to be result-oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units, at various levels. The knowledge/experience/exposure with information security topics, including the design, development, testing, implementation or governance of information security practices and solutions, will be very helpful in this role. You should be prepared to demonstrate your knowledge of cyber security threat framework, risk identification and mitigation skills.

Required Skills:

* Previous experience in data analytics/data mining in a cyber-security environment
* Technical expertise regarding data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
* Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages/visualization tools (Tableau), databases (MySQL, SQL, Hive), programming (Javascript, React node.js and ETL frameworks) • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SSAS, Python, SQL, R)
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Adept at queries, report writing, and using visualization tools
* Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight. Motivated and willing to learn. • Ability to be comfortable delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
* Strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management
* Quick learner and self-starter
* Strong analytical thinking, curious about data and problem solver
* Proven ability of risk oriented approach
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
