As a Systems Analyst you will analyze business functions, processes, and procedures to provide solution recommendations, including system specifications and business process implication, based on business objectives, business requirements and cost effectiveness. You will collaborate with others in system development and design which may include database, report and interface design. You will have an opportunity to participate in development of test plans and coordination or performance of testing as well as triage of issues, anomalies, opportunities to improve solutions. Your knowledge and expertise will be vital in providing analysis and making recommendations on problems of moderate scope and complexity.

What you'll do

* Represent business within Agile delivery team. Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with business stakeholders, engage business partners to understand and develop expertise in aligned business domain, and act as liaison with business stakeholders to analyze requirements for new system implementations as well as system upgrades and maintenance.
* Collaborate with business partners, IT partners and delivery team members to identify, refine and document requirements in the form of epics, features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria or in the form of user cases, business requirements, functional requirements, UI specifications and business rules.
* Understand process analysis and cost versus benefit analysis; and apply these skills routinely. Follow industry standard methodologies and guidelines to write technical and support documentation independently.
* Use system tools to extract data for validation of system requirements. Perform and assist with data analysis to define business, process, functional, and data requirements. Identify and resolve conflicting requirements. Perform gap analysis when needed. Aggregate, track, analyze and generate reports. Perform or assist with basic data mapping.
* May support end users in preparing, documenting and testing scenarios. Use guidance from others to create test scripts and test cases in collaboration with team. May provide direction and support for UAT.
* Provide input on backlog priorities and dependencies.
* Identify improvement opportunities through analysis and understanding of business domain and technology solutions. Collaborate with delivery team to continuously improve both the team and the solution.

What you'll bring

* Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science or equivalent experience.
* 2 years systems analysis experience.
* Experience in a software development environment with Agile development practices, including Scrum and SAFe.
* Knowledge of project delivery models including Agile and waterfall.
* Experience using SQL for data analysis or the desire and aptitude to learn.
* Knowledge of product development tools including Azure DevOps Services, Visual Studio, Confluence, and Product Plan.
* Experience with healthcare or health insurance industry.
* Customer-focused, with demonstrated ability to understand and align to the operational impact/value of the business needs and the flexibility to quickly adjust to changing needs and priorities.
* Ability to develop strong partnership with business and IT stakeholders; providing a sustainable and high level of stakeholder experience.
* Align to established quality expectations and incorporates functional and non-functional quality measures into requirements.
* Experience defining software requirements for low complexity products/solutions; Fundamental understanding of analytical tools, relational databases and software applications; Proven ability to analyze low complexity data and business processes.
