Job Description

Summary

Dime is looking for a System Administrator & IT Support for its Melville office. Under general supervision, be responsible for responding to inquiries and requests for assistance with Dime's computer systems and maintenance of desktop computers and related equipment in an Active Directory environment. Identify problems, troubleshoot and provide advice to assist users. Coordinate with other IT areas to resolve problems as necessary.

Responsibilities

* Diagnose and resolve end user support issues, consult with subject matter experts as necessary.
* Maintain application users.
* Monitor application availability.
* Provide support for problem diagnosis and resolution between end-users and application vendors.
* Install and maintain PC hardware, software, and peripherals using approved configurations.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot PC hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
* Perform remote troubleshooting via phone/remote desktop; visit branches as needed.
* Keep up to date on recent hardware/software trends and specifications.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
* On call Sunday coverage.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or related certifications with minimum two years' experience related to the duties, knowledge and skills specified.
* Flexible shifts including weekends (on call Sunday coverage).
* Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong sense of responsibility, dependability, and punctuality.
* Knowledge of Bank applications (Windows 10, FiservDNA, Nautilus, Microsoft Office).
* Knowledge of Bank hardware (Cash Recyclers, ATMs, Printers, Scanners).
* Willingness to learn new technologies.
* Ability to elicit information by asking appropriate questions.
