Job Description

Centuria Corporation is seeking a Systems Administrator III to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration [NOAA] in Suitland, MD.

From daily weather forecasts, severe storm warnings, and climate monitoring to fisheries management, coastal restoration and supporting marine commerce, NOAA's products and services support economic vitality and affect more than one-third of America's gross domestic product. NOAA's dedicated scientists use cutting-edge research and high-tech instrumentation to provide citizens, planners, emergency managers and other decision makers with reliable information they need when they need it.

Education:

* BA/BS in a Math, Science or Engineering related field.

Experience/Duties/Responsibilities

* 4 - 6 years related experience.
* Will install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
* Will perform system backups and recovery.
* Will maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
* Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and similar suites of business applications.
* Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within particular field.
* May lead or direct others.
