CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a System Administrator for our Indianapolis, IN, Norwell, MA or Albany, NY offices.

The System Administrator position's primary responsibility is for the implementation and management of one or more specific Network Operations Systems (ex. network applications, specific servers, virtual environments, storage) as assigned by the Network Operations Manager and working with the Network Administrators. A deep understanding of specific systems is the focus of the Systems Administrator however this position will be involved with administering many technologies. Occasional travel to other company offices may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deep understanding of design, implementation and management of some specific technologies, specifically looking for any of the following: System Center Configuration Manager, SharePoint, VMware, Skype for Business, Teams, Office365 administrator, Azure administration, Veeam or Horizon View VDI.
* Monitoring and troubleshooting Windows server and desktop operation systems and applications.
* Active Directory administration (Permissions, Users, Sites, DFS, DNS, etc..).
* Perform network hardware replacement and upgrades.
* Troubleshooting and monitoring backup infrastructure.
* Assisting with data archiving and retrieval.
* Assisting with network operations tasks related to office relocations.
* Using System Center Configuration Manager for Client Change Management Control and application packaging and deployment.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

* Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field; Bachelor's preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
* Desktop level certification (deploying, managing) preferred.
* Currently holds network application certification (Exchange, SCCM, etc.) preferred.
* Holds or actively pursuing server-based Microsoft certification such as MCSA preferred.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum 3 years of technical support directly supporting end users.
* Minimum 2 years of entry level network support.
* PowerShell scripting experience preferred.
* Expertise in one or more systems described in the above responsibilities.
* Demonstrates an ongoing personal history of professional development and learning.
* Must be trustworthy and able to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
