Pure Hockey is a privately-owned specialty sporting goods company with over 50 hockey retail stores and 4 e-commerce businesses. Positioned as the number one hockey retail company in the country, the company offers qualified candidates the opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing business.

The System Administrator is responsible for providing IT support to the business community. In this role, as part of the IT team, you will be responsible for day to day desktop related support for end users and systems. This includes desktops/laptop PC's and Mac OS, handheld devices as well as a variety of software technologies. The ideal candidate can work independently and in a team environment; is aware of modern technologies and trends and their application in computing support; demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Due to the nature of supporting essential services, on-call and remote support is an expectation of this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Provide support for desktop computer operating systems and hardware/peripherals; works with individuals across the company to provide information or assistance, resolve problems and satisfy their expectations; knowledgeable about available equipment and service and is committed to providing quality customer service.
* Provide just-in-time support and responds to departmental technical emergencies to minimize data loss, meet deadlines, and support needs of users in a timely manner.
* Continually updates personal knowledge of computing hardware, operating systems, and software. Develops and tests technical and user documentation in areas of expertise as needed.

Maintains confidentiality and discretion when working with pass worded or sensitive materials and displays a high standard of ethical conduct.

Qualifications

Minimum Technical Requirements:

* Experience supporting desktop and server systems (Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, and Mac OS X)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
* Knowledge Microsoft Active Directory
* Experience supporting Microsoft Office software suite
* Customer Service experience in the service or retail industry
* Professional presentation and attitude; Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and communication skills
* Comfortable working with others remotely
* Can deal effectively with stressful situations
* Previous experience documenting work within a ticketing system
