Survivability Engineer

The Survivability Engineer is responsible for performing survivability analysis while managing project budgets, schedule and tasks. This position is located at Bell's Fort Worth, Texas facility.

Position Responsibilities:

* Perform survivability analysis to include vulnerability, susceptibility, countermeasures, and mission effectiveness analysis using Government supplied and in-house computer software.
* Coordinate with Bell Engineers and Technologists in other disciplines to gather the necessary data for analysis, and to fully understand the implications of the analysis and interpretation of results.
* Communicate requirements to vendors of survivability equipment.
* Present analysis results to internal and external customers.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
* Master's Degree is preferred.

Position Requirements:

* This position requires a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated professional experience performing computational analysis. Experience with one or more of the following survivability codes is preferred:
* Antenna Analysis - WIPL-D, CST MWS, and HFSS, Feko, or frequency-domain codes.
* Radar Signature Analysis - Xpatch, Carlos, SWITCH, or other frequency-domain codes.
* EO/IR Signature Analysis - SSTIRS, SPIRITS, MuSES, OPEC, or multi-spectral codes.
* Vulnerability Analysis - COVART, AJEM, or similar.
* EW Analysis - ALARM, or similar.
* Weapons Analysis - RADGUNS, ESAMS, AASIM, Mosaic, or similar.
* CAD / Meshing - CATIA, Hypermesh, Patran, Cubit, or similar.
* Mission / Operations Analysis - ATCOM, EADSIM, BRAWLER, or similar.
* Experience with Visual, IR and/or RF materials and test methods.
* Candidate must have an aptitude for in-depth computational analysis.
* Excellent communication skills are required, especially those used for PowerPoint presentations to internal Bell and external government customers.
