Who We Are

The User Services team develops support solutions at scale in a rapidly changing global environment. We enable users around the world to enjoy Twitter by removing barriers to consumption and highlighting the best of our platform. Within User Services, the Systems and Tools team ensures that we have right toolings and solution in place to support Twitter users around the world, covering a broad scope of issues and user types in multiple languages.

What You'll Do

As a Technical Product Manager, you'll work closely with stakeholders within our partner engineering teams to focus on how the components and system of each agent tools work and jointly develop a roadmap with partner engineering teams for systems, services and infrastructures of agent tools with scalability, consistency and flexibilities in mind. Your role is to provide your in-depth technical expertise to Product Managers of agent tools within the team, plan for future iteration of agent tools development and to ensure effective communication and alignment across our partner engineering teams. Also, you'll drive incremental improvement of agent tools by providing hands-on development to implement technical solutions, which you'll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continue to improve.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with solid engineering background and project management expertise, who excels at solving complex problems and has a passion for improving processes and systems. The ideal candidate has prior experience in engineering role, outstanding interpersonal skills and is great at navigating complex challenges and cross-functional stakeholders. This candidate enjoys the hybrid component of this role being hands-on in both development and product management aspect, is detail-oriented, proactive, a fast-learner, and thrives in a fast paced environment.

If this sounds like you, you probably have:

* Prior experience in engineering role, including software engineer, QA/test engineer and system architect.
* Experience working with engineering and product teams to create and deliver technical solutions in both frontend and backend.
* Technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools and process.
* Strong project management skills who can holistically plan out each milestone leading up to launch
* Analytically focused and able to leverage business insights to make well informed decisions
* Strong communication skills to represent User Services when working with stakeholders
* Ability to work in a cross functional environment with geographically dispersed team members
* Ability to thrive in an environment requiring significant multitasking/content switching
* Ability to work under limited supervision in defining initial goals and addressing complex issues

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science degree
* 5+ years of working experience in engineering role
* Knowledge or experience working on internal tools in support of an operations team
* 3 - 5+ years of project/product management experience
* PMP or Scrum Master experience or certification is preferred
* Previous experience with Scala, Java, Javascript, Python, C/C++, SQL, HTML, CSS and React.js is a plus
* Strong project and product management skills, with demonstrated experience delivering on a deadline
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
