AWS CloudFormation provides developers and system administrators an easy way to provision and manage a collection of AWS resources in an orderly and predictable fashion. We are looking for a DevOps/Systems Development Engineer to own automating and tooling of operational practices. We are looking for self-driven individuals who embrace innovation to deliver meaningful results.

You should be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving. This will include identifying and resolving issues, as well as automating and improving repetitive processes. You will become intimate with the architecture of our systems and be responsible for diving deep into code, while developing solutions for our customers and services. You'll drive prioritization of operational issues, conduct automation design, and evaluate scaling requirements in support of the wider organization. As a Systems Development Engineer in the team, you'll engage with other senior engineers to drive operational excellence, automate tooling, operate and maintain services, build and track metrics to ensure high quality.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about quality, and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, and should be able to work independently and deal with ambiguous situations.
