We are currently seeking applications for mid-level Applications Support Engineer to be part of our Digital Health Technology Team to provide early warning and operational performance metrics for applications under extreme load and ensure quality and integrity of future releases of solutions.

This role will be focused in system configuration, data analysis in response to production issue, release management and deployment.

Let's talk about Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to a manager who is based in San Diego, CA you will be a natural problem solver with a passion to provide excellent and timely production support and can operate in a highly demanding and fast paced work environment.

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in performing the following responsibilities:

* Partner with Full Stack development processes to manage complex, enterprise architecture solutions


* Configure, extend and consume application monitoring tools to maintain high availability and a stable user experience under heavy load conditions


* Execute core ITIL functions such as Incident Management and Change Management adhering to processes built with a strong customer focus


* Investigate failures, identify root cause and implement remedies as part of continuous improvement efforts


* Manage multiple data pipelines to consolidate information into actionable insights to share with the greater business


* Automate and improve on existing operational norms to eliminate toil and facilitate scale with a constant eye on quality/regulatory responsibilities



Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience:

You will have a Bachelor degree in a related field and demonstrated experience troubleshooting enterprise applications within a Unix or Linux environment, with automation through scripting, managing enterprise data and with moving through varied code stacks.

To get us really excited, you have at least 3 years demonstrated experience tracing application data through multiple tiers (API gateways, Message Queues, Databases ect) allowing for logical outcome analysis of integrated solutions. You've also experience in accessing distributed data stores and compiling results into meaningful representations using analytical tools.

Knowledge of networking and application security, telecommunications, IOT trends and cloud native topics will be advantageous.
