Are you a MS or PhD student interested in a 2020 Graduate Research Internship in the fields of Speech, Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning / Deep Learning and/ or Data Science?
Do you enjoy diving deep into hard technical problems and coming up with solutions that enable successful products that improve the lives of people in a meaningful way?
If this describes you, come join our research teams at Amazon. As a Graduate Research Intern, you will have access to large datasets with billions of images and video to build large-scale machine learning systems. Additionally you will analyze and model terabytes of text, images, and other types of data to solve real-world problems and translate business and functional requirements into quick prototypes or proofs of concept

We are looking for smart scientists capable of using a variety of domain expertise combined with machine learning and statistical techniques to invent, design, evangelize, and implement state-of-the-art solutions for never-before-solved problems.
Our research teams are using expertise across various science-focused disciplines such as robotics, computer vision, image recognition, object detection ASR, NLP/ NLU, machine learning, real-time and distributed and recommender systems, forecasting and optimization to convert requirements into concrete deliverables.
Amazon has multiple positions available for Graduate Research Interns in the following locations: Seattle, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Boston, New York, Pittsburgh, and Cupertino for research experts that will be graduating after September 2020. Our research areas include:
* Machine Learning / Deep Learning /AI
* Computer Vision
* Data Science/ Statistics
* Robotics/ DEX
* Speech (NLP: ASR, MT, NLP, NLU, TTS, DM, and ASP)
Internships last 12-20 weeks and start year round. In order to be considered for an internship you must be enrolled at a university and plan to return for additional school terms prior to graduating. Otherwise, please check out our full time openings if you are graduating within the next year.
