VACANCY INFORMATION:

Organizational Development

Essential Job Functions

* Serves as a trainer or facilitator for program activities focused on developing Department of Health Services managers.
* Prepares program materials, including designing and writing instructions, curricula, and presentations and meeting agenda.
* Prepares and orients staff from other departments who are assisting in leading Management Development Program activities.
* Analyzes program data and provides insights for future project implementation.
* Participates in administrative studies, audits and research projects as assigned

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

* Two years of experience as a trainer or facilitator.
* Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with implementing and managing programs, and evaluation development, including data collection, management, analysis and presentation.
* Experience with facilitating workshops, presentations, and groups.
* Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
* Experience or knowledge of DHS internal systems, including Learning Net, purchasing, room reservations, information technology, audio visual, catering, etc.
* Experience with presentation and marketing design tools using Microsoft PowerPoint and Publisher.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills

This position is open to all County of Los Angeles employees who currently hold the payroll title of Staff Analyst, Health and have successfully passed their probation.
