We are a part of Digital, Apps, Games & Services (DAGS) group that designs experiences and build front end user interfaces for devices such as Fire TV, Fire Tablet and Appstore experience on 3P devices. Within DAGS we are DeX (Developer Experience) group focusing on building tools and services that let our developer customer create digital content for our various ecosystems, offered via. our web portal developer.amazon.com. We work closely with product and business leaders in maintaining and shaping future course for the web portal.

We are looking for a Sr. UX Designer who is passionate about UX design, understanding user behavior, and solving customer problems and has disruptive ideas for how to conceive and deliver innovative online experiences for our developer customers.

As a user experience designer, you will be responsible for driving design deliverables such as user interface designs, interaction models, and prototypes for new and innovative experiences. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the current state of web technology and best practices, with a critical awareness of implications on user-centered design and functionality. You will be customer-obsessed, detail-oriented and skilled in using data to make decisions and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities:

* Create visual mockups, starting explorations from wireframe sketches
* Create detailed design specifications including redline specifications
* Output and organize files into a consistent structure for development handoff
* Collaborate regularly with developers, PMs, and QA to ensure products are built to design specifications
