The Sr. UI Developer will be responsible for developing the GUI and mid-tier to provide a highly flexible, low-cost maintenance and high-performance application. They will research the latest techniques in component delivery to minimize the cost of delivery and maximize flexibility.

Responsibilities

* Design, build, and test distributed software that integrates data access, authentication, and various presentation layer technologies using Vue.js
* Translating designs into high quality code
* Work independently with frequent interactions with team members and other involved parties
* Employ Agile programming methodologies
* Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
* Contribute to a strong, well connected team
* Document code, processes and other information
* Regularly review and present detailed project status

Specific Skills

* 7+ years developing software using JavaScript frontend software frameworks
* Thorough understanding of Vue.js and its core principles. Development experience with Vue.js a must.
* General knowledge of state management within Javascript frameworks
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
* Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Experience with popular Vue.js workflows
* Familiarity with specifications of EcmaScript ES6
* Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs
* Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
* Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
* Advanced knowledge of unit testing and writing unit-testable code
* Experience adhering to the creation of applications that meet security standards, working with security assessors to review code, and detailed application/code documentation
* Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
* The ability to benchmark and optimize code
* Familiarity with versioning tools (such as Git, Bitbucket, etc)

* High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience

Nice to have

* Operations and deployment experience, source code management and database design a plus
* Familiarity with SQL Server and TSQL. The ability to review a database and query existing data.
* Strong proficiency with typescript
* Understanding of using Redux with React
* Relevant certifications
