Role Summary:
You will own the Design History File (DHF) and be responsible for understanding functional and product requirements for component/module for a specific release, documenting it as functional specifications, applying agile principles to convert these specifications into stories and work units and then translating them into criteria for acceptable product performance.
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you will
Work independently, at the same time collaborating with all other roles within an agile product development life cycle to ensure product releases that meet organizational standards and customer needs.
Own all Design history File (DHF) deliverables, lead the design control process
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products
Represent the product team in all audits
Ensure consistency across multiple scrum teams,
Manage multiple scrum teams as a scrum master and Release Train Engineer (RTE) to remove roadblocks/impediments and ensure smooth execution and delivery
Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
Engage frequently (80%) with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions
Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
Collaborate with UX in design decisions, demonstrating deep understanding of technology stack and impact on final product
Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas
Partner with the Service Owner to ensure healthy development process
Be regarded as an expert in Agile Methodology; translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team
Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape
Mentor junior team members
Demonstrate the ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Information Technology OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Information Technology as an engineer or Technical team lead
At least 2 years of experience leading agile teams as a scrum master in servant leadership capacity.

Desired Characteristics: Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in defining features backlog and specifying requirements
Knowledge of GEHC's QMS and Design Control Process (ISO13485 and IEC62304)
Exposure to developing software in an agile, regulated environment.
Ability to coach the organization in the art of vertical user story definition.
Previous experience working as an agile scrum master for a medical device product is a plus.
Experience managing global/virtual teams is a plus
Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and company reference architecture
Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
Facilitate convergence of functional and technical
knowledge and build project teams
Work with globally located technical team often comprising of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan
Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required. Manage procurement and onboarding process
Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations
Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected
Technical Expertise:
Experience in using the Jira or Rally tool to manage requirements processes
Have a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large distributed web application
Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective
Experience in customer engagement to facilitate requirements
Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks
Has the ability to make basic technology choices based on experience
Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements

Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
