We have an opening for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to work on our high-profile technology excellence initiatives across our digital and print publishing businesses. As a TPM, you are creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior analytical abilities.

This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. This candidate should possess verifiable leadership qualities including being proactive, thoughtful, thorough, decisive, and flexible, conducting themselves professionally and with integrity at all times. At the core of the position is delivery. You will have a strong working knowledge of large scale, distributed technologies and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. In this role you will work with engineers, other TPMs, and senior management across the Kindle Content organization to drive technology excellence across our tools to better serve our customers, confronting all technical and business challenges implicit in these goals. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail-driven, and have excellent problem solving abilities. You should not only be passionate about delivering effective, on-time solutions, but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement, and mentorship. This is a high impact position that will directly contribute to customer satisfaction in an area of incredible growth.
