Job Description

Our Technology group is seeking a leader to manage programs and services that facilitate trillions of global financial transactions worth billions (USD) annually. Our software empowers and connects customers, vendors and financial operations teams in ensuring accurate and timely cash flows. We are looking for a results-oriented, self-driven Technical Program Manager who can help us create the next generation of distributed, scalable systems that support Amazon's current and future business needs. Our mission is to provide technology solutions that optimize the scale, speed, accuracy and productivity of Amazon's order to cash process, while ensuring a positive customer experience.

The team is committed to building the next generation big data platform that will be one of the world's largest finance data warehouse to support Amazon's rapidly growing and dynamic businesses, and use it to deliver the BI applications which will have an immediate influence on day-to-day decision making.

Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes working on complex problems with customers that span across all of Amazon, enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts (that are typically being defined in real-time), and, above all, is a passionate about data and analytics. In this role you will be part of a team of engineers to create world's largest financial data warehouses and BI tools for Amazon's expanding global footprint.

Responsibilities:

* Thinking big and working with Senior leadership, business stakeholders and engineering teams to define vision, strategy and requirements.
* Delivering results by driving execution of programs spanning multiple organizations from design to rollout.
* Earning trust through regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control.
* Owning all metrics around initiative goals you will define. We make decisions based on data.
* Being resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.
