The Tech360 team is a start-up environment that will be the authoritative source of customer metadata and the solutions team for applications that action AWS' strategies to better serve our customers. We invest resources in information and solutions enabling AWS sales and business teams that yield increased customer adoption and an optimal customer experience.

We are looking for a Sr. technical program manager to play a key role in building next generation big data tools and solutions. In addition to technical expertise, you will invest time to understand the needs of the business, the data behind it, and how to transform information into technical solutions that allow the business to take action. Ideal candidates will have expertise with all phases of the web application development life cycle and in building models that scale over time while balancing accuracy, flexibility, and speed

Key Responsibilities

* Scoping and delivering large, complex projects end-to-end for new initiatives.
* Collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, driving project schedules from design to release, communicating to stakeholders and executives, and managing the production launch.
* Work with engineering and product managers to translate business requirements into technical/functional specification.
* Drive effective team work, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
* Build project plans, balancing business needs with project risks and resource availability.
* Own the technology road map for the specific program area and prioritize features for development/release.
* Evaluate industry innovations and big data technology platforms
* Work collaboratively with Engineering as an advocate for the needs of our customers.
