Job Description

Overview

The Senior Technical Analyst of Business Systems is the technical lead for the implementation, configuration and continuous improvement of processes and procedures in support of our HCM application. This role will work in conjunction with the HR Project Manager to build the technical solution for our business requirements. Additionally, this role will be responsible to ensure we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the HCM system based on the various business processes. We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly.

Responsibilities

* Work with both internal business stakeholders and our external implementation partner to prioritize and deliver business requirements and assist with change management.
* Develop, test, document solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of an HCM implementation
* Participate in technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation aligned with the

business objectives

* Research integration issues and work closely with team members and development staff
* Define and manage release readiness and success criteria based on business requirements.
* Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and solutions
* Perform ongoing HCM administration
* Provide technical support, maintenance and training for our HCM users
* Identify and evaluate new features and functionality related to new releases
* Participate in the testing cycles for new functionality releases

Qualifications

* 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in a Business Systems role, providing hands-on recommendations for process and systems improvement, while undertaking various development projects.
* 10+ years of experience that has implemented best practices working across the Software Development Lifecycle.
* Strong understanding of HCM best practices and functionality
* 5+ years' experience being a key stakeholder in an HCM implementation
* Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
* Experience of Workday HCM
* Experience with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira
* Excellent written and oral communications skills.
* At ease in leveraging virtual resources to drive projects to on time completion.
* Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

* Working knowledge of integration tools such as Dell-Boomi
