Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer in San Diego, CA to implement CA Application Performance Management (CA APM) on Java applications that make up the PlayStation Network (PSN). Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related or equivalent plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience implementing CA Application Performance Management (CA APM) on Java applications. Prior experience must include five years (5) years of progressively responsible experience integrating CA Customer Experience Monitor and CA APM data into operational and executive dashboards; defining and tuning CA APM/CEM thresholds for alerts; analyzing alerts and monitoring data to advance root cause analysis capabilities; gathering metrics from multiple sources including CA APM/CEM to aggregate and analyze data; creating operational best practices to manage “always on” monitoring operations; conducting incident management and troubleshooting efforts between various end-to-end teams for diagnosis of issues and mitigation of customer impacting events; coordinating post-outage root cause analysis and recommend and drive the process/tools/skillset improvements; creating technical documentation defining tool architecture, technical details and processes.
