Job Description

Description:Support the SWFTS program in a Systems Engineering role. The successful candidate for this position will be able to provide both traditional systems engineering functional support as well as Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) support. Duties also include working with other team members to ensure the requirements and model are understood and ensuring that the documentation and model are updated when clarification is needed.

Domestic travel in support of program activities may be required. Requires the ability to interface with customers, partners, and colleagues with a high degree of technical and interpersonal competency.

The candidate needs to foster a good working relationship with the Customer and make the Customer comfortable that their requirements have been translated and represented into a total solution.

Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge of systems engineering concepts, including requirements analysis and definition.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering/Object Oriented Design, CORBA, GUI (Graphical User Interface), OMI (Operator Machine Interface), UNIX, Linux, TCP/IP, Open Systems/Client Server, UML/SysML, DOORS, TAU, Magic Draw or Rhapsody
