Summary:

This Systems Analyst will be working with the business, the AMS support team and the development team to keep the Billing applications running as efficiently as possible. The applications in this area need a strong systems analyst that can research issues, determine root-cause analysis and provide detailed design specifications to the AMS and development teams for both defect and project solutions. A qualified candidate will have experience handling multiple projects and shifting priorities within both Java distributed and Cobol mainframe technologies.

Required Job Qualifications

* Bachelor Degree and 2 years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.
* Knowledge of application configuration
* Financial Transaction Processing experience with Billing, Collections, and/or Reconciliation applications
* Knowledge of Big Data Analytics - HAVeN / HADOOP/ Autonomy / Vertica
* Knowledge of Integration Technologies - Tibco/Informatica/CAS
* Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST
* Web Technologies - HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C
* Rapid prototyping
* Requirements definition & management
* SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development
* System Performance management
* Conceptual thinking
* Creative thinking
* Problem solving and analytical thinking
* Strong oral/written communication skills

Preferred Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related
* Ability to execute

Preferred Requirements:

* Financial balancing experience utilizing ACR/Assur
* Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies
* Database analysis and query experience with DB2/Oracle
* Working with vendor packages like ORACLE
* Working with multiple version control and methodologiesKnowledge of Scripting Languages - BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY
* JIRA experience
* COBOL and VSAM experience
* Java
* Claims data knowledge
* ZENA
* ZEKE

GENERAL:

* Monitor service desk queues and daily reports
* Review and approve AMS requests, updates, packages
* Attend tech bridges

Multiple Billing Applications:

* Learn, understand and document the Billing Applications
* Work with the dev teams and ITQA to review and approve testing
* Work with team to understand and improve month-end performance

Other Applications:

* Work with Sr. SA to document existing applications in detail
* Work with Sr. SA to develop automated, scheduled test cycles for all applications
