The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical support for assigned applications.

Responsibilities

* The Cardiology Sr System Analyst functions within a broader team responsible for Cardiology, PACs support and system management.
* This position is a senior level position responsible for the day support and management of a variety of Cardiology systems.
* This position works to identify, recommend, and optimize the systems to ensure efficient clinical use and workflow.
* The Cardiology Sr System Analyst serves as a system administrator, trainer and representative to users, vendors, peers and leadership.
* Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with clinical and operational staff, technical teams, and vendor partners.
* Recognize opportunities for process redesign in order to maximize the benefits of the implementation.
* Ensure fulfillment of customer service goals and service level agreements.
* Mentor team members in gathering requirements, performing workflow analysis, and developing system specifications.
* Monitor and partner with software vendors to ensure system optimization and currency of product roadmaps.
* Establish & maintain processes and procedures for effective documentation, customer support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
* Develop processes and procedures to monitor systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues and application interfaces
* Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and issue lists.
* Report on project status, issues and risks
* Keep abreast of and understand the operational workflow of customer departments
* Translate and implement best practices related to patient safety and quality into the system configuration and design
* Provide and coordinate end user and team training on regular basis to ensure effective use of the systems and to ensure team coverage
* Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis
* Knowledge of server configuration and networks a plus
* Experience in SQL and use of SSRS
* Trained in template development within Siemens SyngoDynamics and/or GE CCW a plus.
* Experience with any of the following is preferred: CRW, SyngoDynamics, PaceArt, MUSE, DMS, CPACS, EA, CCW.
* Required experience with HL7 Interfaces and Enterprise Imaging Archive
* Must have excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

* BA or BS degree preferred or other relevant combination of training and experience.

Experience:

* 5-10 years industry experience preferred5-10 years industry experience preferred
* 4+ years of experience in Cardiology PACS Imaging preferred
* 5-10 years extensive experience in providing technical support and maintenance in assigned product preferred

Travel Requirements:

* May require local travel
* May require other travel for business needs

Working Arrangements:

* May require after hours on call support
* Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
