Job Description

Overview:

The Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the continual safe and secure operation of all agency systems and networks. As part of the OutCast Information Technology team, you will also be an important support resource for both team members and clients. Excels at working directly with people that possess varying levels of technical expertise. Flexible enough to juggle multiple tasks of varying levels of complexity on a daily basis, while appropriately prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines. Independently manages projects from concept to implementation, creating thorough documentation for all deliverables. The Systems Administrator reports to the Director of Information Technology.

What You Will Be Doing

* Conceptualize, configure, support and maintain all systems and wired/wireless networks across three US office locations.
* Monitor systems and network performance and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
* Stay abreast of security considerations, and recommend appropriate action to the Director of IT.
* Serve as an IT representative on the business continuity / emergency response team.
* Create documentation around all IT procedures, processes, requirements, and responsibilities, to include: installation, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures, technical instructions for end users, training materials for all common and OutCast specific IT considerations, with material tailored for all skill levels.
* Coordinate with vendors providing on-site consultation or repair and replacement issues.
* Respond to and resolve walk-up user requests and escalated helpdesk requests for approximately 150 users.

What You Must Have

* Apple OS X
* Microsoft Windows Desktop 10
* Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2019 & Active Directory
* Microsoft Exchange Online and Exchange 2013
* Microsoft Office 365 and Powershell
* JAMF management platform for Apple devices
* MDM solutions for Android/iOS devices
* Hosted applications, including Google Apps Suite and Box.com
* Identity & Directory providers (Okta experience preferred)
* Virtual host management (VMware vSphere experience preferred)
* Virtual server backup and recovery (Veeam experience preferred)
* Wireless networks (Ubiquiti & Ruckus experience preferred)
* Hosted Business Telephony (RingCentral experience preferred)
* Hosted Videoconference (Zoom experience preferred)
* Managed network equipment (Cisco/Ubiquiti/Sonicwall/Fortigate experience preferred)
* Desktop, Laptop, Peripheral repair/diagnostics

Additional Skills and Responsibilites

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift 50 + lbs. Able to stand and sit for long periods of time Ability to crouch in low spaces Move heavy objects Work in small confine areas
