This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

Generate and update feature-based Solutions Architecture and customer workflows for the central laboratory domain.

* Analyze Solutions Architecture elements, features, and workflows for the ability to meet business and customer needs in the context of a competitive environment.
* Participate in Scrum teams to define and prioritize features and ensure maximum product value.
* Work closely with Portfolio and Product Management and System Architects to define user needs and create customer features that are required and/or mandatory for successful placement of Siemens solutions.
* Lead discussion with Portfolio and Product Management and Architectural Element Team to deliver architectural decisions and tradeoffs, with perspective of internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop Design Input Requirements for Clinical Laboratory Instrumentation (Chemistry/Immunochemistry, Hematology), Lab Automation and Information Systems.

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, biology, chemistry or related field.
* 5+ years of medical device engineering experience
* 5+ years of Clinical laboratory experience, management a plus
* Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technology certification preferred
* Demonstrated ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audience (and vice versa)
* Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and drive results
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines with influential competency
* Participation in Agile development with Product Owner experience is a plus

Required skills to have for the success of this role

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, biology, chemistry or related field.
* 5+ years of medical device engineering experience
* 5+ years of Clinical laboratory experience, management a plus
* Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technology certification preferred
* Willing to travel up to 20%
