Do you like Amazon Alexa and have a passion for cars? The Alexa Auto team is seeking a Solutions Architect to help mold the future of how customers use voice while on the go. In this role, you will wear many hats including technical advisor, software developer and evangelist. As you will be the "face of Amazon" for key strategic partnerships, you must possess a unique combination of creativity, deep technical skills and business acumen as well as a do-what-it-takes attitude to ensure our partners are able to take full advantage of Alexa's skills and are delivering a delightful end user experience.

Ideally, you're someone who can write code with the best of them, but also want to help guide the broader industry towards building delightful on-the-go voice experiences using the Alexa platform. You have immediate credibility with technologists and developers at all levels, from students to CIOs. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in selecting strategic opportunities to do so. Responsibilities:

* Evangelize best practices for building voice experiences on the go and in the car
* Actively identify opportunities to deliver experiences that demonstrate what is possible with Alexa Skills.
* Developing unique, compelling and exciting presentations and demonstrations of new Amazon technologies
* Document best practices and create development resources that can be used by other developers
* Provides technical consultation to strategic development partners
* Build reference architecture, frameworks and toolkits to drive scale of adoption in the ecosystem
* Manages complex projects end-to-end with significant bottom-line impact
* Identify key technical opportunities and challenges and work with cross-functional product teams to address the challenges and build new features
