Job Description

Description:Skilled, motivated software engineer needed to work in the Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) community, developing submarine weapons and SONAR systems, specifically for international customers.

Basic Qualifications:

* BS degree in computer engineering, computer science, or closely related technical field; or equivalent experience/combined education and 5 years of professional level experience
* Proficiency with both Java and C++ is a must
* Familiarity with developing applications for Linux
* Experience in object-oriented development for a real-time or near real-time system is required; this includes the ability to develop and troubleshoot multi-threaded applications in this environment.
* Solid mathematical skills
* Strong verbal and written communications skills

Desired Skills:

* Experience developing for SONAR and/or weapons, especially in a submarine environment
* Familiarity with a CI/CD environment
* Experience with agile development
