YOU are a talented Sr. Software Engineer In Test, focused on shipping the best quality software. You value autonomy, ownership, and collaborative, fast-moving environments. You enjoy analyzing problems and architecting solutions, and believe that every interaction the customer has should be compelling and first rate. You write clear and concise code using modern tools and frameworks.

We ask a lot of our back end infrastructure, web interfaces, and mobile user experiences. We need to engage, delight, and support our customers. We have millions of users and ambitious goals so we need to work at scale. As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test you will understand the needs of our users and work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that we deliver a simple and high quality platform to meet them, using distributed architectures and full stack solutions that push the state of the art.

What you'll work on:

* Participate in all aspects of product development from feature definition and estimation, to architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
* Guide the team to apply innovative techniques and established best practices that optimize rapid delivery of software with quality
* Own the end-to-end test coverage of new features. Create test cases, review with peers, identify which cases to automate, and create automated tests within our test frameworks
* As an integral part of a close-knit software development team, extend test coverage and help developers to build out their own automated test coverage
* Summarize test results using a quantitative / risk management approach and present results to stakeholders via created dashboards and presentations
* Embrace an agile mindset to accomplish goals quickly and iteratively, through cycles of learning
* Grow and develop your career within a community of quality-focused software engineers

Who You Are:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent skill
* Strong software engineering and development skills in more than one programming language (preferably Java and JavaScript)
* Solid understanding of QE methodologies and best practices
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* 5+ years of experience delivering value in B2B or consumer-facing software business
* Experience designing, testing, delivering, and monitoring scalable high-availability software, either:
* Cloud-enabled consumer-facing iOS and Android apps

OR
* Cloud computing, such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or Amazon EC2
* Maintain a strong sense of customer advocacy, considering quality risks to the business

Preferred Experience:

* Automated testing of mobile user experiences on iOS and Android
* Testing and deploying software in a service-oriented architecture
* A track record of leading projects with a group of your peers
* Experience with HIPAA / HITRUST is a plus
