Job Description

As a senior member of the Engineering team responsible for implementing the Management Portal, you will help development of Angular and other Front End applications as well as our backend services, written in springBoot and node.js. The Creative Library within our larger portal is responsible for storing, validating, previewing, organizing and analyzing all creatives within our system to ensure that they are available, performant, and ready to go when a campaign launches.

We provide the tools and engineering structure to allow ever-changing business needs to be met without having to radically alter our architecture. We've built this structure on an Event Based Micro-Services Architecture (EBMA) to ensure fast development and loose coupling across our entire organization. This gives us the ability to scale dynamically within our own internal clusters or into the AWS cloud as needed.

You'll be part of a team in ensuring that we write smart, effective and well tested code across our platform. You will be part of a highly collaborative and curious team that peer reviews code and improves every day, all in the service of regularly shipping great a UX and a stable, fast backend micro service collection to production.

Responsibilities

* Build elegant and maintainable Single Page Applications using JavaScript, Angular and related technologies.

Build and review stable and scalable Spring Boot applications on the backend to support our business.

* Advocate for strong Agile development methodologies, automated testing, continuous integration.
* Lead and assist teammates by providing advice and guidance, training, code reviews .
* Collaborate with Node and/or Java developers in designing solutions across the stack.
* Collaborate with Product and UX teams to design and build responsive, data rich tools for our customers.

Qualifications

* BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline and 6 years practical experience.

A depth of experience in Java and springBoot applications development as well as experience with kafka and redis.

* A strong command of modern web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS2/3 and JSON.
* Deep knowledge of Angular Framework as well as JavaScript fundamental concepts and libraries (underscore, Lodash, jQuery)
* Fluent with JavaScript automated testing toolkits (mocha, chai, sinon, protractor).
* Expert with GIT, can rebase or cherry-pick, do complex merges and fix it when problem happens.
* Able to work full- stack when needed with Angular, Node.js, Java, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL.
* Excellent communication skills and great team player.
