Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join the Software Products and Enterprise Solutions Group within the Software Engineering. In this role, you will design and develop the next generation of home and commercial automation products for the industry leader. We will look for you to showcase your commercial mobile application development experience.

You will have the opportunity to develop mobile apps with cutting-edge technologies for

Responsibilities

* Lead mobile application development from conception to launch
* Translate business requirements into engineering design
* Participate and lead new application development while taking initiatives to enhance existing apps
* Research and solve difficult problems and challenges
* Work with a talented team to deliver cutting-edge solutions which impact the daily lives of millions of people around the world
* Special duties as assigned

Qualifications

* A minimum of BS in Computer Science / Engineering is required
* A minimum of 14 years of Software Engineering experience is required
* Must have demonstrated architectural and design capabilities in mobile application development is required
* Expert knowledge of the iOS / Android platform and at least 5 years of solid commercial mobile application development experience is required.
* Experience and knowledge of network protocols is required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver with confidence in a fast-paced environment
* Experience developing for the Linux platform is a plus
* xperience and knowledge with Audio/Video streaming is a plus
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational sense is required
