Have you ever tried to shop for a cozy paint color for your reading nook at home, that looks great on relaxing cloudy days? Or for a matching bronze screw to fix your loose kitchen cabinet? How about safe electrical wiring for your bathroom?
Today it is difficult for Amazon customers to find and shop for products that meet multiple specifications (like material, size, weight, strength, and shade), and purchasing these items from physical stores can require multiple frustrating trips to the hardware/home improvement store.
As part of the Effortless Shopping team, you will collaborate with SDEs, FEEs, UX designers, and business category experts to build innovative solutions to help customers find, with a couple of clicks, the items they need for their home improvement and DIY projects. These solutions span back-end catalog systems, REST services, and UX across devices. We utilize ML algorithms to predict customer intent, and AR to help customers visualize their project's end result.
As part of this team you will have the opportunity to make decisions that impact millions of customers in an untapped online category. If you are an engineer who thrives in a start-up like environment where teamwork, delivery and customer focused solutions are paramount, then jumpstart your career with us. Let's have fun while making history.
