You and your team aren't just engineers - you own the customer experience, the look and feel, and the strategy for the products you develop. This allows you to look around the corner, move efficiently, develop concrete plans, and take advantage of opportunities to solve problems with long-term thinking. We need a highly collaborative teammate, but also one-person wrecking crew - someone who gets a lot done with very little resources and lots of ambiguity.

As a lead, you'll support a team of engineers to define, drive and execute on this vision. You will unblock and find efficiencies in working with partner teams in Amazon. You and your team will collaborate with UX leads, product managers and engineering leads across the company on high impact initiatives.

Responsibilities:

* You will lead the development life cycle and vision for a feature set within our portfolio of brand discovery products.
* You will collaborate with our team's UX and product leads to develop a strategy and roadmap to provide compelling shopper and supplier (brands) experiences and capabilities.
* Partner with tenured senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
* Assure that your team's designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
* Project management - prioritize, plan projects and features, manage partners, and track external commitments.
* Monitor operation of production services to ensure Operational Excellence.
* Career management and fostering the development of the engineering team you support.
