We are seeking a software development engineer to work on major Elastic Beanstalk features, APIs, orchestration engines, service integrations, and application-centric health monitoring. As a Sr. SDE, you will be a major influence on the design and delivery across the whole team.

As part of the team, you will:

* Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in microservices, container, and distributed cluster-compute architectures.
* Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in Java and other object-oriented languages.
* Get to work with a wide array of technologies and AWS services. There is always something new to learn.
* Own and operate the systems that you build based on real-time customer data and demanding service-level agreements.
* Work with multiple teams within AWS and Amazon to build solutions that create value to them and their customers using Elastic Beanstalk.
