Job Description

WANTED:A mission-driven professional with a strong Risk Management Framework (RMF) background and Active Secret clearance to become our next Security Engineer at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. You will support the Air National Guard (ANG) Information Assurance Risk Management Framework contract. We are looking for a self-driven Security Engineer with direct RMF experience who has the desire for success and a relentless interest in providing a positive customer experience to complement a cohesive team of IT professionals. A week in the life of a Security Engineer:

* Maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance for all Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages.
* Investigate, contain and report all Classified Message Incidents (CMIs).
* Adhere to all DoD, Air Force and NIST 800 guidance policies and regulations pertaining to cyber security related matters.
* Prepare TEMPEST packages for all areas that process Classified information per guidance AF AFSSI 7702
* Investigate, contain and report all Classified Message Incidents (CMIs).
* Conduct vulnerability scans via the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for all assets on the Air Force network (i.e. work stations, server, switches, and routers).
* Play vital role in all incident response procedures, including steps to minimize the impact and then conducting a technical and report summary on how the breach happened and the extent of the damage.
* Conduct SCAP / STIG Viewer scans for STIG compliance checks on all applicable ANGRC assets.
* Maintain Security Certification status for all users identified on the Unit Manning Document (UMD) and DMDC records to ensure required users are compliant with DoD 8570 requirements.
* Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

* Active DoD Secret clearance
* CompTIA Security+ Certification or other equivalent certification: (CAP, CASP, CISSP, CISM, ISSEP, ISSAP, GIAC, GSLC, GSEC, GSED, GCIH). DoD 8570 compliant
* Bachelor's Degree
* Working knowledge of Air Force Networks
* Minimum of four (4) years experience assessing security controls based on DoD RMF or NIST 800-53 guidelines.
* Minimum of four (4) years direct experience in IT/IA Engineering, Certification and Accreditation/Assess and Authorize.
* Experience developing and implementing information assurance/security standards and procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
