Position Description:

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Security Architect. You will enhance the cyber security posture of seven (7) civilian government agencies through improved implementation and enhancement of network monitoring and control tools and processes. You will actively identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber risks and will also work closely with a variety of agency stakeholders, supporting their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges. This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic project focused on improving federal cybersecurity at the seven target agencies over the next six (6) years.

* Serve as the CGI Sr. Security Architect delivering capabilities and services for a major cyber security program supplying guidance to all contract personnel for DHS and other targeted agencies and organizations participating in the CDM program.
* Providing direct solutions and integration of solutions by leading and assisting in the delivery of cyber security projects for designated agencies.
* The successful candidate for this position is a highly motivated individual with a strong IT security background who excels integrating, operating and deploying security technology and solutions, including interacting with clients.
* The successful candidate is a self-starter who works effectively highly dynamic environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

* Possesses and applies knowledge of the development of a security Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) solution architecture.
* Evaluates information assurance/security standards and procedures.
* Plans the design, coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of security programs for an organization.
* Functions as a technical resource for general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.
* Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers' requirements.
* Establishes and satisfies information assurance security requirements based upon the analysis and working knowledge of security models and methods for integrating security for the CDM solution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

* Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 8-10 years of related experience; or 5+ years of related experience and a Master's degree
* Good knowledge and experience in security architecture design
* Experienced in using professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
* Ability to interpret business issues and recommend best practices of security architectures
* Ability to works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
* Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
* Security+ certification required

Desired:

* Current CISSP
* Experience on projects similar to the size, scope and complexity of the work and environment providing technical leadership for IT security and service delivery to multiple government agencies.
* Demonstrated experience in security architectures and the delivery of IT security design using existing and emerging technologies to achieve enterprise solutions.
* Understanding of federal cyber security guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 - Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems: a Security Life Cycle Approach and NIST 800-137 - Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations.
* Understanding of the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM).
