Job Description

Zoom Information is looking for a results-driven, highly-technical Senior Quality Automation Engineer who is passionate about leading edge technologies (such as Selenium, Angular JS, Rest Assured, Google Cloud Services, Big Data) to join our team of outstanding professionals building the next breakthrough in B2B information services. The focus of this position will be to design and implement test solutions to measure and validate the infrastructure and functionality of Zoom's application and processing sub-systems.

Please note: We are only considering candidates local to the greater Boston, MA area

Responsibilities:

* Work as part of an Agile team to deliver reliable, scalable UI and API automation
* Own and deliver innovative solutions for large scale automated testing strategies, quality assurance, and data analysis
* Define test strategies, analyze test results and validate functionality
* Work with development and product to gather test requirements, assess risk areas and convert these to test cases
* Ensure adoption and expand the reach of delivered tools
* Fix framework bugs and improve test architecture
* Provide automation documentation and training
* Contribute to general engineering practice improvement efforts

Minimum Qualifications:

* 5+ years work-related programming experience
* Excellent coding skills in Java
* Experience with API automation and API testing frameworks (Rest Assured preferred)
* Proficient skills in scripting languages (e.g.: Python, Perl, Ruby, or Bourne Shell)
* A passion for coding, specifically designing validation and testability into the code
* Understanding of n-tier architecture and related testing strategies
* Experience testing Restful API's
* Prior experience with testing frameworks (such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium)
* Knowledge of SQL / RDBMS
* Experience with performance testing using tools (such as JMeter, Load UI)

Nice to have:

* Comfortable working with Linux
* Experience working with distributed systems such as Hadoop or Cassandra
* Knowledge of Spring/Hibernate
