Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Job Duties:

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Senior QA Engineer at our Parsippany, NJ location. Responsibilities: Write and maintain software test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on specifications and requirements. Develop software tests for functional, performance, and regression testing that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements. Enter, review, and update software defects in defect tracking database. Execute manual software quality assurance tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during testing processes. Execute and maintain automated HP ALM QTP automated test scripts. Test web-based software applications.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus seven (7) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus seven years of experience.

Two (2) years of experience must include:

Creating and implementing hybrid automation framework using QTP/UFT; SQL/Oracle Database validations automation using QTP/UFT; Web UI validations using selenium web drive; Agile methodology; WSDL Webservices automation testing using QTP/UFT; Writing automation scripts with HP Quality Center/QTP; Developing data driven tests and writing QTP/UFT functions using VB Script; SQL testing; Mainframe/Putty automation using QTP/UFT; and QTP/UFT object repository.
