Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for successful delivery of large scale, highly complex projects with senior-level sponsors and stakeholders. The successful candidate ensures use of standardized project management methodologies, processes and tools. This position provides oversight and development opportunities to project resources and other operational support personnel as appropriate. The Senior Project Manager delivers within approved budget, schedule and meets quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) required

Seven (7) or more years project management experience required

Experience in a healthcare setting, or a combination of relevant experience, leadership skills, healthcare experience, and project management expertise leading complex organization-level initiatives required

Education/Licenses/Certifications

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field required

Masters degree preferred

Demonstrated leadership and flexibility.

Ability to build rapport with clients, team members, project managers, and senior executives.

Ability to maintain the client relationship and keeping the client and stakeholders engaged in the project.

Strong communication skills required.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Experience with building business cases.

Epic experience is strongly preferred.

Develop and manage program financials including forecasting, profitability, and expense management.
