Contract Duration: 3-6 months
TITLE: Sr. Programmer Analyst
The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for migration, configuration, designs, develops, tests, debugs, and supports application systems consisting of web applications, web services, procedures, and database objects. These web applications are primarily developed with the .NET Framework, classic ASP and MS SQL server. Provides production support and problem resolution for these applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for Web applications development using .NET framework C# and Classic ASP and COM
* Responsible for IIS configuration of web applications (IIS 7 and higher)
* Support web applications through investigation, analysis, and troubleshooting to resolve problems. Reviews existing systems to understand and support their processes.
* Follows defined technical and development standards and best practices
* Executes application testing plans, documents and resolves as needed
* Creates and maintains application documentation
* Resolves application issues as needed
* Actively participates in application design sessions as needed
Other Responsibilities:
* Trains additional staff in supporting the applications
* Assists with other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
* A minimum of 5 - 8 years' in web application development using C#/ASP.Net, Classic ASP and MS SQL Server development experience.
* BS or equivalent experience
* Proficiency in SQL Server and stored procedures.
* Experience in COM technology is desired.
* Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision.
* Excellent documentation and communication skills.
