Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Programmer Analyst II - Siebel (Multiple Openings)

Location: Melville, NY

Job Duties: Define, develop, test, analyze and maintain new software applications and reporting as well as maintain and update existing applications and reports in support of the business goals in relation to Siebel and Oracle development, implementation and configuration. Analyze existing programs and/or formulate logic for new systems, prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written, maintain project life cycle standards. Work on complex issues where analysis of data requires an in depth evaluation of variable factors. Use best practice and knowledge of business issues and strategic direction to solve complex problems. Must write complex program specifications and coding from program specifications.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), Math, Physics, Chemistry, or closely related field.

* Will accept a 3 year or 4 year Bachelor's degree.

plus 5 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.

5 years of experience in: Siebel development, application, components, installation, implementation and configuration using Siebel tools; workflows, scripting, views, applets, joins links and MVG; Siebel Call Center or Sales and Service applications; Siebel integration tools such as Web Services, EIM and EAI; and developing required SQL queries, stored procedures and functions to check results.

2 years of experience in: Oracle Siebel Open UI development and tools including JavaScript, HTML, JQuery and CSS; Siebel Order Management, quotes, assets and product configuration; Siebel application administration; Siebel upgrade process and patches; and Oracle upgrade path
