Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Programmer Analyst II - RAD

Location: Melville, NY

Job Duties: Define, develop, test, analyze and maintain new software applications and reporting as well as maintain and update existing applications and reports in support of business goals. Plan and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with offshore teams. Design, develop, modify, debug and implement short and long term solution to IT business needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications, analyze existing programs, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharts, maintain project life cycle and develop system implementation plans.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), Math, Physics, Chemistry, or closely related field.

* Will accept a 3 year or 4 year Bachelor's degree.

5 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.

5 years of experience in: Java, JSP, J2EE, EJB, HTML, JavaScript technologies; Developing and debugging highly scalable Java based web applications using Rationale Application Developer (RAD); Building, deploying application to IBM WebSphere Application Server; CVS or similar source control products; and Item and Inventory management applications.

2 years of experience in: IBM AS400 and DB2 Database; Writing, debugging complex SQL programs in DB2/400 and SQL server; Bootstrap JQuery, JSON, HTML5;XML and Web Services; and Planning applications, preferably JDA/E3.
