Job Title: Sr. Programmer Analyst II - Change Management
Location: Melville, NY
Job Duties: Define, develop, test, analyze and maintain supply chain and distribution business systems and warehouse management application Software. Test new software applications and reporting as well as maintain and update existing applications and reports in support of the business goals. Work with TURNOVER or change management software to follow project life cycle and change management policies and procedures and manage/work with offshore teams. Analyze existing programs and/or formulate logic for new systems, prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written, maintain project life cycle standards. Work on complex issues where analysis of data requires an in depth evaluation of variable factors. Use best practice and knowledge of business issues and strategic direction to solve complex problems. Must write complex program specifications and coding from program specifications.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), Math, Physics, Chemistry, or closely related field.
* Will accept a 3 year or 4 year Bachelor's degree.
5 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.
5 years of experience in: RPG, RPG-ILE, CL, SQL,AS/400 environments, DDM, DB2 Database; XML; FTP/SFTP; supporting business critical production environment; working with distribution business systems and warehouse management software; and Working with Change Management tools/systems.
2 years of experience in: MQ; Web Services; Translating Business requirements to IT Systems requirements; Work with offshore teams and working with multi location teams;
Integrating application systems with iSeries; reverse engineering and documenting legacy application; Project estimation, agile methodologies, managing backlogs and sprints; and Data migration from legacy application.
