Take your career to a new level with ManTech! ManTech is seeking a Sr. Program Security Officer (Sr. PSO) at our Herndon facility who is looking for an exciting new opportunity to display their skills in support of a diverse contract with multiple government agencies.

Responsibilities:

Individual must be well-rounded in their understanding of Security with solid experience in Personnel Security with an emphasis on SAP processing. The position requires an individual be a self-starter and able to perform professionally with little to no supervision and be required to hit the ground running. Candidate requires a strong working knowledge of the NISPOM, DoDM5205.07, and JPAS as activities will include personnel security, technical security, and operations security. Coordinate with customer security as needed to maintain situational awareness of security issues, alerts and notifications. Will be tasked to perform process improvement, investigate security incidents and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Conducts initial security awareness, indoctrination briefings into program level briefings, and education training for new employees.

Responsible for administering all security aspects for the program supported to include implementation of security requirements to ensure compliance. Must possess strong written communication skills and have the ability to write and communicate complex concepts to government customers and technical staff. Position requires a current BI, completed within the past five years, and adjudicated at the TS/SCI level.

Program Security

Responsible for the development and maintaining of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the program. The Sr. PSO will function as primary for the creation/revising of sub DD254s for multitude sub contractors. As necessary, the Sr. PSO will take the lead in preparing Facility Clearance (FCL) packages for subs that do not possess a facility clearance. In the event of a security incident, the Sr. PSO will conduct the appropriate investigations, make the necessary notifications to customer and ManTech Security leadership, and complete a final report for submission.

Personnel Security (PERSEC)

In addition to performing Program Security functions, the Sr. PSO is required to perform Personnel Security (PERSEC) duties. Those duties include submitting clearance nomination packages for both ManTech employees as well as sub contractors. Proficiency in the use of JPAS is required and all its functions from verifying clearances to initiating clearance actions. Required to not only conduct security indoctrinations but also conduct debriefings. Individual is responsible for sending, receiving and processing visitor access requests as well as foreign travel reporting.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Ensuring security compliance with contractual requirements
* Clearance and access processing for DoD Collateral via JPAS and customer processing procedures
* Completing DD254s and sub DD254s
* Conduct security indoctrination, refresher, and termination briefings
* Process Periodic Reinvestigations as needed
* Managing and supporting subcontractors
* Visit requests

Applicant must be knowledgeable in all disciplines of personnel security along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Candidate should have a minimum of 3-6 years security experience with Bachelor's Degree, but will consider equivalent combination of education/work experience.
