Amazon seeks a Senior Program Manager to join our expanding Finance Operations (FinOps) Excellence program - ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System). We are looking for an experienced delivery minded individual that can work across teams to create and execute project/program plans, motivate and leverage team strengths to deliver with speed AND quality.

In addition to continuously driving and improving execution of FinOps core mission, this role requires working closely with the team of senior program managers, FinOps senior management and key software development teams across the company to define and deliver the strategy/roadmaps and lead the teams through delivery. Our partners include AWS, WW Consumer, Digital Video, Digital Music, Logistics and new business teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Develop an in-depth understanding of Amazon's products, business models, payment & billing architecture and financial operations
* Ensure consistent and efficient execution of projects/programs by working closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to drive the adoption and implementation of global standards in processes and programs
* Streamline project delivery across Finance by developing standard communications, execution and documentation, ensuring consistent, scalable global processes
* Ensure on-time delivery of PMO commitments through the planning, execution and monitoring of project/program work within the team
* Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles with minimal direction. Determines appropriate corrective action. Serve as an escalation resource to help the team remove roadblocks.
* Drive continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals
* Support critical relationships with internal and external business partners
* Contribute and lead process improvements within the PMO to continuously improve delivery speed without compromising quality.
