Distribion is a leading provider of SaaS based software that allows marketing organizations to more efficiently manage the complex needs of distributed marketing through a single integrated platform. Corporate and local marketers, field sales and marketing partners can efficiently create, store, localize, manage and measure marketing communications across channels. Distribion's Distributed Marketing Platform (DMP) is deployed in over 200 companies globally representing over 200,000 users.

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer / Architect to join our growing development team and help implement new features to our existing platform. The ideal candidate will lead the team in solving business needs with scalable solutions. You will be exposed to a variety of technologies including microservices, third-party integrations, front-end frameworks, cloud computing in AWS, and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities:

* Design and implement scalable and highly-available products in AWS
* Lead the design, development and deployment of API's and/or microservices to integrate across multiple new and existing business applications
* Help solve for current challenges with scalability and interoperability
* Solutions-oriented thinking; always looking for the smart solution to a problem rather than jumping at the first answer
* Participate in agile methodologies
* Review the current solution architecture to identify opportunities and recommend optimization solutions

Job Requirements

* 8-15 years working as part of a web development engineering team, primarily with PHP and JavaScript development experience
* Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend
* Experience with solutioning for scalability issues
* Familiar with AWS cloud technologies, such as, EC2, S3, Lambda
* Experience working in a LAMP environment
* Experience working with relational databases (Postgres / MySQL)
* Knowledge of CI/CD process using tools such as Jenkins and Git
* Participate in agile methodologies
* Experience with code-versioning systems such as Git or BitBucket
* Worked with JS frameworks and tools such as AngularJS, JQuery
