Summary:

Time Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Specialist/Task Lead to provide task oversight and assist the Project Manager (PM) to provide desktop and network infrastructure services in support of DEA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Support the PM in leading a team of approximately twenty Network Specialist and Network Technicians.
* Represent PM in DEA planning meetings as requested.
* Coordinating travel schedules for the deployment, relocation, refresh, and new site installations for various DEA offices in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
* Provide technical expertise in support of planning and determining best solutions for field support deployments and installations.
* When required, travel to various field sites in support of network installation activities. Travel estimated at < 20%-30%.
* Assist site Team Leads to,
* Plan and prepare travel schedules and required travel documentation for deployment team
* Plan and delegate pre-trip activities to include site evaluations, IP walks, equipment staging and configurations, material requirements, preparation and delivery to site, and ensure team has completed tasks utilizing internal Quality Control processes.
* Prepare as-built and post installation deliverables as required
* Provide performance feedback for each team member to the Program Manager after each trip as well as performance reviews for team member.
* Make recommendation for process improvement to Program Manager
* Provide Internet Protocol (IP) conversion support (planning and actual work).
* Provide support for all tiers of IP Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) address management.
* Provide floorplan updates and support for Firebird drop and installation layouts, by location, for new installs, relocations, and expansions of updated field locations
* Installation of Cisco routers, switches and wireless access points at DEA field offices.
* Installation and relocation of network workstations, printers, and all other peripheral devices.
* Verify and update master Firebird documentation for all work completed, to

include but not limited to:

* Site Survey Reports.
* As-Built Reports, to include site drawings and LAN configurations.
* Cable certifications.
* DEA-16's Receipt for Property Form for equipment transfers.
* Site sign-off package per location.
* Incorporate updates provided by other SI components.
* Assist Project Manager with auditing staff time sheets and travel expenses.
* Provide input pertaining to staff performance.
* Mentor staff to improve performance.
* Other duties as assigned



Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

* BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical discipline. Additional relevant experience in lieu of education may be considered.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working in network engineering.
* Secret clearance is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Ability to read and understand construction floor plans.
* Experience developing Ethernet and Fiber Optic wire Plant designs.
* Experience working in network administration and network infrastructure support.
* Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; Uses time efficiently.
* Ability to effectively organize or schedule other people and their tasks.
* Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
* Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
